Keep Your Private Parts Clean

From Tips and Steps

Keeping your private area clean (for both men and women) can provide you with a fresh feeling, and can also mean a less ashamed sexual encounter. Everyone can appreciate a clean, well groomed and appropriate genital region, so here are some directions for both men and women on how to do just that.

Steps

For men

  1. Always remember to shower, cleanse, shampoo, and rinse thoroughly the pubic region, to avoid infection and putrid smell.
  2. Put on a fresh pair of underwear everyday. Remember to keep your clean, unused undergarments in a clean and well aired place, such as a drawer (open half an inch) in order to let the cotton breathe, and mold not to grow on said undergarments.
  3. When showering, be sure to assess all the regions of which your genital area is composed of (Penis, Testicles, Pubic Mound, and inner thighs).
  4. Clean with a soft cloth, using body gel to sooth and soften the region, leaving a fresh scent, and a soft feel.

For Women

  3. When showering, be sure to assess all the regions of which your genital area is composed of (Inner Vagina Wall, Vulva, Pubic Mound, and inner thighs).
  4. If you are on your period, change your pad/tampon regularly, and remember to clean and rinse your pubic area after removal, and before replacement.
  5. Clean with a soft cloth, using body gel to sooth and soften the region, leaving a fresh scent, and a soft feel.

Tips

  • If you would like to, you can shave or groom the pubic region if you feel fit to do so. The downside of this, is that it provides more risk to infection and ingrown hair, and for women, can cause dirt and other such bacterial deposits to enter into the vagina, possibly causing a yeast or other bacterial infection. Remember, if grooming and or shaving the pubic region, to use a clean pair of scissors, and be very careful. Wash your pubic area after you have completed the task.

Warnings

  • Remember to stay in a well ventilated area when cleaning the region, as sweat can cause more bacteria to grow.
  • Do not use the same underwear for more then one day.
  • Remember to change your tampon/pad, and clean accordingly.
  • If you have a girlfriend/boyfriend who prefers something a certain way, think about yourself first, and be careful. Remember that this region is something that will come in very handy if you are having children, and to be cautious with it.
